Eligibility for CFP Fast Track Pathway

What is CFP Fast Track Pathway 

An accelerated pathway to test the competency of certain professionals in financial services who have specified qualifications along with relevant experience.  Such individuals, upon verification of their credentials, shall be exempted from writing three component level Specialist exams. This tests the all-round financial planning knowledge, skills and abilities expected of CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER professionals.

Stage 1

Financial Plan Assessment

Students need to prepare a full fledged financial plan from scratch.

Generally consists of approximately 20+ Advanced Excel sheets of Financial Calculation required for Financial Planning.

Prepare a Financial Report for the given case study, consisting of approximately 60+ pages of financial planning.

The Case Study is given by FPSB once in two months.

Stage 2

CFP®  Exam

3 hour Multiple choice questions based Examination.


Case study based assessment. 

Covers all the topics involved in a financial plan, Ex: EMI, Retirement Planning, Wedding Planning etc.

Note: It is the Individuals choice to either give the exam first and then the financial plan. There is no restriction with your submissions and the exam. You can also reach out to us if you are confused with what should be you proffered route to becoming a CFP

How to become a CFP?

Step 1

Check your eligibility with FPSB and get your documents verified by them. 

Step 2

Complete your registration and other formalities with FPSB and get yourself enrolled for CFP Program

Step 3

You can opt for Self study mode or you can register with us for the training program.

Step 4

Post training, submit your financial plan, give the final exam and post clearing both of them, apply of CFP Certification
